Presidents Message

Welcome to NCCET,

It is an honor to serve as President of NCCET and to represent a national community dedicated to advancing workforce development, continuing education, and lifelong learning. In my role as Assistant Vice President for Economic Development and Dean of Continuing Education and Public Services at the College of DuPage, I see firsthand the critical role education and training play in strengthening individuals, organizations, and regional economies.

NCCET exists to support professionals who are navigating a rapidly evolving education and workforce landscape. As industries transform and skills demands shift, our collective responsibility is to remain agile, innovative, and responsive. Through collaboration with our members, industry partners, and educational institutions, NCCET is committed to sharing best practices, fostering meaningful connections, and delivering timely, relevant resources.

Our Board of Directors and volunteer leaders are actively focused on expanding opportunities for engagement, professional development, and knowledge sharing. From programs and events to research and partnerships, NCCET will continue to be a trusted resource and a strong advocate for continuing education and training professionals nationwide.

I encourage you to explore the site, engage with our community, and participate in the conversations shaping the future of the workforce and continuing education. Together, we can strengthen pathways to opportunity and ensure learners and employers are prepared for what’s next.

Thank you for being part of NCCET.
